Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since her teens she also delves into other styles like hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice has been said by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet but with a bite like those of the past. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned her the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami the third album by her included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in the month of March 2022, following performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was first Spanish singer to sing solo in the program. As well as winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
